Introduction
The Certificate of Higher Education in Photography is a one year programme of study which aims to offer students an introduction to methods of producing and distributing photography, as well as a critical understanding of lens-based media and technologies within contemporary contexts.
Modules
All Level 1 modules of the BA (Hons) Photography programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme has been designed to give students the opportunity, upon completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of the full degree programme.

Career Opportunities
This programme is designed to provide successful students with the opportunity to progress directly on to our full degree programme. BA (Hons) Photography graduates have gone on to work in the media and design industries, including roles in advertising, fashion, digital communication, photo journalism, and filmmaking. Some Lincoln graduates have set up their own photography and video production businesses with the help of the University’s business incubator, Sparkhouse.
