The Lincoln Experience
Lincoln is a special place to live and learn. Set against the backdrop of a beautiful and historic city, the University of Lincoln sits at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, with almost everything you'll need either on campus or just a short walk away.
Everything we do is geared towards giving our students the best experience possible. We pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching, and this is underpinned by a vibrant research culture where our students are able to work alongside leading academics on research projects that are making a tangible difference to society. Students can benefit from the many opportunities we create through our partnerships with industry as we continue to build sustainable long-term relationships with a diverse range of organisations.

The best way to find out what it is really like to live and learn at Lincoln is to join us for one of our on-campus events. Visiting us in person is important and will help you to get a real feel for what it might be like to study here. Many of our students say they knew Lincoln was for them as soon as they set foot on campus.
By joining us on campus, you have the opportunity to speak to our expert staff about the things that matter to you - whether that is the course, careers support, accommodation, Students' Union, or fees and funding. You'll also be able to take in our spectacular city centre campus, academic facilities, and purpose-built accommodation.
A Supportive Community
At Lincoln, we understand that there may be times when you need a little extra assistance. That’s why we offer a wide range of support and advice services for both personal and academic matters. We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming, and close-knit community of staff and students, and everything we do is geared towards giving our students the best experience possible.
Our specialist teams offer free, impartial, and confidential advice and information on an array of topics, from fees, funding, and making payments, to health, wellbeing, and housing. Our Residence Life Team is available to support students living in University owned and managed accommodation.
University life is about so much more than just studying. Working together with the University of Lincoln Students' Union – an independent, student-led organisation run on behalf of all our students – the University aims to offer an array of activities and amenities to help enhance your student life.
Students can enjoy a range of virtual and on-campus events including live music, comedy, quizzes, and fayres, or take advantage of the facilities available at our Sports Centre, which include five-a-side football pitches, squash courts, and a well-equipped gym.
The Students' Union also offers more than 100 different sports and societies that students can join, and operates several on-campus venues which are popular hotspots during the day or night. These include Towers, The Swan and The Engine Shed, one of the region's biggest live music venues.

Preparing you for your future career in the global graduate jobs market shapes your student experience from the day that you enrol.
