Congratulations on securing your place to study with us at the University of Lincoln. This page aims to provide all of the key information that you will need to formally enrol.
Before you arrive, there are a few important tasks for you to complete to help ensure your first week goes as smoothly as possible.
Step 1 Check and Amend Your Personal Details
First of all, you need to go to the enrol.lincoln homepage, found at https://enrol.lincoln.ac.uk in order to start the login process. Our Getting Started Guide provides information on how to log into Enrol.Lincoln. As well as updating your personal details, you will need to upload some Verification ID (this should be photo ID i.e. your passport, driving licence, or college ID).
Step 2 Upload a Photo for Your Student ID Card
You are also required to upload a photo to the Getting Started section of Enrol.Lincoln so that we can produce your Student ID card (This should not be your passport or driving license).
After completing these steps you will be able to access the Getting Started generic and programme level resources. Programme level resources are in a Getting Started School site. Your password will be the same one you have used to access your Enrol.Lincoln homepage when you checked your personal details.
Step 3 To Formally Complete Your Enrolment
We will contact you approximately a week before the start of your course. You will be asked to complete a form through Blackboard to confirm your enrolment, ready for the first day of teaching. Once you have completed this you will receive email confirmation.
You will have access to IT facilities the day after you have formally enrolled.
Your Student Card
Once you have received email confirmation that you have enrolled onto your course, and if you would like your student card posting to you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request it. Please can you provide your name, date of birth, and the address you want this posting to, so we can verify your address, against the address we hold on our student management system before posting.
Please can you ensure that you email email@example.com to receive confirmation of the name of your personal tutor.
Alternatively, you can collect your card, please email the Student Support Centre (as above) to arrange a date and time.
Enrolment is the formal process through which you officially join the University. When you enrol, you confirm your agreement to become a student at Lincoln, to abide by University regulations and to become liable for fee payments (where applicable), as well as agree to having your personal details checked. All students must enrol at the beginning of each year of study.
EU Students – We may contact you prior to Enrolment to request a copy of your passport or National ID card.
