Radio Dramas

Students in the Lincoln School of Fine & Performing Arts have the option to study Acting for Media, a module which teaches students to act for radio (audio) and camera.  In this module, students work with module leader Andy Jordan, a former Senior Producer in the BBC Radio Drama Dept, and a current BBC Sound Engineer to make a short radio play. Students not only act roles but also create all the sound effects and music for the short play which is then edited and mixed in class so that it can be played back.

The following short plays, just three minutes long, are based on stories from Angela Carter’s novel, The Company of Wolves, and are examples of work created on the module.  Download MP3 audio versions of the plays below.
