The course aims to provide a short introduction to writing effective chemical risk assessments.
Develop an understanding of COSHH legislation and the responsibilities of those carrying out chemical risk assessments. Learn the key steps to carrying out a chemical risk assessment and how to calculate the risk factor. Identify and investigate methods for eliminating, reducing or controlling the remaining risk within the workplace, ensuring the safe transfer of chemicals into the food manufacturing environment.
1 x 1/2 day course delivered on site at The National Centre for Food Manufacturing, Holbeach
There is no assessment for this course but a NCFM attendance certificate will be issued.
