Angela Rippon Angela Rippon talks Mohammed Ali, Red Rum and why Andre Previn could never get a break from London cab drivers, in our Great Lives series.

Drawing on more than 50 years in broadcasting Angela captivated the Great Lives audience at the University of Lincoln with tales and anecdotes of a career as a journalist, writer and presenter.

Describing herself as being lucky to have travelled the world while meeting people from all walks of life, she shared stories of Morecambe and Wise, riding Red Rum and meeting Mohammed Ali.

Her TV work continues today with programmes on antibiotic resistance and the facts and myths of the medical world.

Angela talks here about her support for the University˙s game-changing antibiotic research and the
importance of the Lincoln Medical School for the wider benefit.
