Professor Mary Stuart
At the University of Lincoln, our academic teams are involved in research at the leading edge of their disciplines, from developing new antibiotics and more effective cancer treatments, to tackling the digital divide and preserving historical artefacts. This research is changing the world and is recognised nationally and internationally.
Our postgraduate research students may have the opportunity to benefit from working with specialists in their respective fields who have national and international reputations and excellent commercial links. The aim is for students to acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in a particular subject through original investigation.
Clearing is the UCAS process that allows students the opportunity to find a course at university if they haven’t yet managed to secure one. Whether you have changed your mind about the course or university you want to study at, or if your exam results were not what you expected, you can use Clearing to secure a place at university for September 2019.
Adjustment is the process when you have met or exceeded the conditions of your firm choice on UCAS, enabling you to look for a different course with higher entry requirements.
