Our Education Liaison team is here to help you prepare your students for the next steps in their education journey by offering a wide range of information, guidance, activities, and events. Explore how we can help students learn more about the career routes higher education can open up, navigate the university application process, and prepare for the transition to university life. Many of our outreach activities are designed to help schools and colleges meet the Gatsby Benchmarks for careers advice and guidance.

Planning for Next Year?

Our team offers a wide range of activities, presentations, and workshops to support students as they consider their post-16 options. Browse the range of options and the different ways these can be delivered for your school or college.

Philosophy Competition

Year 12 and 13 students are invited to take part in the University's Philosophy Essay Writing Competition for the chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher and four second place prizes of £25 Amazon vouchers.

Personal Statement Support

Personal statements are an important part of the application process and that’s why we offer applicants the chance to have theirs checked for free wherever they are applying to. Simply email us your drafted statement and we'll come back to you as soon as possible.

Bursaries and Scholarships

For eligible undergraduate students going to university for the first time, some scholarships and bursaries are available to help cover costs. The University of Lincoln offers a variety of merit-based and subject-specific bursaries and scholarships which students can apply for.

Our online Library Guide contains useful information and guidance on researching, referencing, and academic writing. It also includes links to open access resources which may be useful for your students' current studies including the Extended Project Qualification.

Our Careers and Employability Team offers careers advice that is relevant to individual degree courses, available through their website. This can give your students an idea of the specific job roles which may be available after graduating.
