Shadow Secretary for Energy and Climate Change to see Centre's green credentials
Shadow Secretary for Energy & Climate Change to see green credentials Shadow Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change, Greg Clark MP, will visit the University's National Centre for Food Manufacturing in Holbeach on Friday 12 February.

As part of the visit he will be meeting with Mr Darren Ward, Director of Green Footprints UK Ltd, whose products are installed and used by the National Centre for Food Manufacturing.

Green Footprints' hand dryers provide huge financial savings to businesses as well as reducing their impact on the environment by using significantly less power than standard hand dryers and removing the need for storing, disposing of and refilling of costly paper towels. Their installation at the Centre allows for them to be demonstrated to prospective clients in a real factory environment.

The facilities and services to business at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing have been shaped and dictated by the employers whose businesses the campus supports. This partnership has created arguably the best resource of its kind in the UK.

Greg Clark MP will be joined by local MP John Hayes, Shadow Minister for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education, during his visit to the Centre which takes place from 3.30 pm.
