Guitar great on stage at Engine Shed
Gary Moore Legendary British guitarist Gary Moore will perform at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed on his forthcoming UK tour.

The musician, who is acknowledged as one of the finest guitarists that the UK has ever produced, will play at the Brayford Wharf East venue on Sunday 18 October.

In a career that dates back to the sixties, Moore has graced the line-ups of great rock bands including Thin Lizzy, Collosseum II and Skid Row. To this day he maintains a highly successful solo career.

His latest studio album, Bad For You Baby, is a blues rock record which mixes original material with a few rediscovered blues classics.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Marketing Manager at the Engine Shed, said: “Gary Moore is one of Britain’s finest guitarists with an incredible pedigree playing with some legendary bands of the sixties and seventies. In his solo career he has shown he has a wonderful appreciation for blues music and this concert is a great opportunity to see a master of his art at work.”

Gary Moore will perform at the Engine Shed, Lincoln, on Sunday 18 October 2009. The event is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Doors are at 7pm.

Tickets cost £26.50 each and are available from, 0844 888 8766, the Engine Shed and LPAC Box Office, which is open Monday to Friday 10am-4pm, and HMV Lincoln.
