ADVICE FOR WOULD-BE STUDENTS
Students who are thinking about enrolling on a degree course can get some helpful advice at a special event to be staged at the University of Lincoln in Hull on Saturday (26th June).
The Progression to Higher Education Event takes place from 11am until 3pm at the university’s Queens Gardens building next to Hull College.
Students on further education courses who are undecided about their future plans can speak to a specialist team of advisory staff who will be on hand to answer questions about finances, life at university and combining study with family and work commitments.
Academics from the Hull School of Art & Design, the Hull School of Media Technologies and the Hull School of Health & Social Care will also be available from 1pm until 2pm to discuss specific courses.
On display will be work completed by the university’s final-year art and design degree students.
“If you’re interested in studying for a degree but you’re not sure whether it’s for you and don’t know whether you can afford it, this event will provide all the information and advice that you will need to come to the right decision,” said a university spokesman.
