Riders from the University of Lincoln are on their way to the regional finals of the British Universities Sports Association equestrian competition.
The university’s equestrian team finished first in the group stage at the weekend with three outright wins and one second place to qualify for the regional finals with ease.
The final fixture was held on home turf at Riseholme Park, where team captain Jess Glassow took the individual first place and led her team to the top spot.
The regional finals will be held on 29th of February at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire.
The successful team will qualify for the two-day national finals to be held in Uttoxeter in March.
“Last year we had individuals representing Lincoln in the finals - hopefully this year the whole team will qualify for the national finals,” said a spokesman for the University of Lincoln Students’ Union Co-operative.
