There’ll be an international flavour to proceedings at Hull City Hall this Friday.
Around half of the 240 students due to graduate at the University of Lincoln’s winter awards ceremony will be flying in to the UK from overseas.
Students from Hungary, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Germany, Zambia, Oman, India and the United Arab Emirates will be attending the ceremony at 2.30pm on Friday 23rd January to collect undergraduate and postgraduate awards.
The students are among the last to graduate from a range of franchised courses which were run by colleges and universities overseas and accredited by the University of Lincoln.
Twenty-seven students from Sri Lanka are planning to come to the ceremony on Friday – the biggest group of overseas graduands the university has welcomed in recent years.
They will all receive a Master of Business Administration award which they studied at IMPAC in Sri Lanka.
Hull City chairman Adam Pearson will also attend the ceremony to receive an honorary Doctorate of Business Administration.
