Lincoln most improved in Independent league table
University logo The University of Lincoln is the most improved university in England, along with one other, in a national university guide published today.

No other English university has improved its ranking more than Lincoln – up 21 places - in this year’s Complete University Guide, published in the Independent.

The guide shows that the University has improved over the last year in all areas which are: graduate prospects, good honours, completion rates, research, student satisfaction, spending on facilities and academic services, student to staff ratio and entry standards.

Pro Vice Chancellor (External Affairs), Professor Scott Davidson, said:
“This is great news, especially as Lincoln is such a young institution. The University is continuing to see the results of its investment in resources, and its success in national assessments, for example the recent research exercise and National Student Survey.”

The University of Lincoln is ranked 78 out of 113 universities included in the Guide. The University of Oxford topped the rankings.
