Peter Doherty to perform at Engine Shed
Peter Doherty Cult musician Peter Doherty will play at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed on his new solo tour.

The singer-songwriter, who made his name with the Libertines and later Babyshambles, will perform at the live music venue on the University’s Brayford Campus on Tuesday 17 March.

The concert will take place just a day after he releases his debut solo album, Grace/Wastelands.

The first single from the album, Last of the English Roses, will be released on 9 March.

People who love the music he has created with the Libertines and Babyshambles will know just what a talented musician and performer he is. We’re very much looking forward to his performance at the Engine Shed. Landing such a high-profile act shows yet again just how well-regarded the venue is by the music industry.”

Tickets for Peter Doherty’s performance at the Engine Shed on Tuesday 17 March will go on sale on Friday 23 January at 9am. They are priced £19 advance.

Tickets are available from, 0844 888 8766, HMV Lincoln and the Engine Shed Box Office, which is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

The event is for people aged 18 and over only and doors will open at 7pm.
