November Open Day at the University of Lincoln

The University of Lincoln will be welcoming prospective students at a November Open Day.

People interested in higher education can get a feel for what Lincoln has to offer at the event on Saturday 15 November.

The University of Lincoln’s open days are designed to be relaxed and informal – and visitors can simply turn up at any time during the day.

There will be timetabled tours of the main Brayford Pool campus, as well as the Riseholme and Cathedral campuses.

Visitors can get an up-close look at academic facilities, Halls of Residence and other amenities, like the University’s sports centre or the Engine Shed student centre.

Throughout the day academics will be on-hand to talk about their subject areas.

Staff and current students will be available to answer questions on important issues like student finance, accommodation and university life.

Karen Raynes, UK Recruitment Manager at the University of Lincoln, said: “We plan our open days to be relaxed, informal events. Visitors do not need to book in advance, they can simply turn up on the day. Once they are here, they can pick and choose what aspects of the University they want to see. Perhaps most importantly, we also make sure plenty of staff and students are available to give honest answers to any questions.”

The University of Lincoln’s November Open Day runs from 9.30am-3.30pm on Saturday 15 November. For more information call 01522 886644 or visit the University’s website at http://www.lincoln.ac.uk/home/opendays/he-index.htm.
