Curious Club launched by top director

The University of Lincoln’s Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design launched a new Curious Club for students on Wednesday 6 February.

The club is designed to stimulate curiosity, and will feature a range of talks from an eclectic mix of speakers.

The first talk was by popular director and executive producer from Antelope Productions Mike Csàky, who introduce students to the creative ideas surrounding educating through entertainment. Mikes productions have featured on many terrestrial television stations including BBC1, BBC2 and ITV.

Mike said: “As an art school product myself I couldn’t endorse more highly the notion of being curious and investing serious time in getting to know more about the world that we live and work in. My message to the students at the University of Lincoln is to gain the maximum fun out of your education, think big, think bold and have fun.”

The six-week programme has been organised by Principal Teaching Fellow Pam Locker. It will run every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks up to and including 12 March in room AR1101 of the Architecture Building from 1pm-2pm.
