Polish film showcased at University


Are you interested in Polish film? The University of Lincoln is hosting a special three day event showcasing the work of three Polish film directors.


The event will take place from Thursday 22 November to Saturday 24 November, with screenings of films directed by Witold Stok, Bogdan Dziworski and Tomasz Pobog-Malinowski. The audience can also meet the directors and talk about their work.


On Thursday Witold Stok will show his film Wajda’s Danton, which is a documentary following the making of the film Danton. In addition his short film Prayer will be screened.


Friday’s audience will see a selection of short films by Bogdan Dziworski and on Saturday Tomasz Pobog-Malinowski will show his film The World According to General Jaruzelski.


The event has been organised by the University of Lincoln’s Faculty of Media, Humanities and Technology.


All films will be shown in the EMMTEC Auditorium, Brayford Pool campus from 7pm to 10pm on each of the days.
