Business expert Professor Colin Coulson-Thomas says that businesses can succeed by adopting proven winning behaviours.

Professor Coulson-Thomas spoke at the World Congress on Total Quality in Calcutta, India where he called for the international collaboration of businesses in order to enhance success and build relationships.

The professor’s research has identified critical success factors and what winning companies do differently to losing companies in areas such as winning business, building relationships and setting achievable goals.

His book ‘Winning Companies: Winning People, the differing approaches of winners and losers’, highlights the key findings of the research suggesting that winners are realists, they commit and they collaborate.

“The research findings are excellent news for people and organisations who would like to raise their game. Identified winning ways can be quickly adopted. Participants in the research programme boosted performance by embracing and adopting winning approaches,” said Professor Coulson-Thomas.

Coulson-Thomas is the Professor of Direction and Leadership at the University of Lincoln. He has helped over 100 companies improve corporate performance and he has spoken at over 200 national and international corporate events.
