The University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed has launched a web site to keep fans of the venue up to date on the latest news and events.

The web site, designed by StrikeMedia, will keep everyone up to date on future gigs, latest club nights and everything going on in the venue.

Boasting an interactive forum, photo galleries and a mailing list the site is fully user-friendly and aims to provide as much information as possible while encouraging the public to have their say.

Victoria Simpson, Engine Shed Marketing and Events Manager, said: “I am personally very happy with the outcome of all the hard work that has gone into the web site.

“After commissioning the project back in September it’s fantastic to see it up and running. I hope that it will make a connection with all the people of Lincoln and showcase exactly what we are about at the Engine Shed.”

The Engine Shed has played host to many live bands such as the Zutons, Babyshambles and the Charlatans. Many more bands are lined up to play in the future, including Kings of Leon in February, and the web site will enable the Engine Shed to publicise such events both locally and nationally.

As well as the many gigs at the Engine Shed the web site will promote the Engine Shed’s club nights, such as FUSE, indie/rock night, and the soon to be launched VIP, RnB and Hip-Hop nights.

Bookings for any of the Engine Shed events are welcomed from students and non-students. You can book tickets online for any of the events featured on the web site.

You can visit the Engine Shed web site at www.engineshed.co.uk for recent news and all future events.
