A new CD-ROM for professionals working with people with mental health problems has been launched by the University of Lincoln.

The Centre for Clinical and Academic Workforce Innovation (CCAWI) in Mansfield, which is part of the university, launched the three part CD-ROM 'Primary Care Mental Health' at its recent annual national conference in Nottingham

“This interactive toolkit is designed to enhance the skills of professionals working with people with common mental health problems,” said David Rushforth, an academic at CCAWI.

This modular study programme is suitable for professionals who would like to gain knowledge and understanding of the culture and processes of primary care, engage with users, carers and support agencies and develop mental health skills relevant to primary care settings.
