Professionals in Lincolnshire are being invited to develop their management potential by taking a course at the University of Lincoln.


An open evening to be held at the Brayford Pool campus this Thursday (19th January) will give visitors information on part-time postgraduate study opportunities at the university.


And those attending will also get the chance to look round the campus and meet academics from the Lincoln Business School.


Among the courses on offer are:


·         MSc in Human Resources Management or Human Resources Development which also leads to graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

·         MBA Management – the Integrated Management Development Programme (IMDP) offers staged entry and exit points at each of three levels leading to the full MBA qualification

·         CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is the most prestigious qualification for strategic and financial management accountants

”Our courses are aimed at managers, personnel and training specialists and financial accountants who want to gain a professional qualification that will enhance their knowledge and develop their skills,” said Zoe Homes, Marketing Officer for the Faculty of Business and Law at the university.

The event takes place from 4.30pm until 8pm on Thursday 19th January in the Alstom Atrium inside the main academic building at Brayford Pool, Lincoln.
