Small businesses in Lincolnshire can get management training from the University of Lincoln for just £95, thanks to a cash boost from the European Social Fund.

The Lincoln Business School based at the Brayford Pool campus is offering five distinct management courses to businesses based in Lincolnshire which employ fewer than 250 people.

These five highly recommended courses begin at the end of October and are specially designed for smaller businesses. The courses available are:

·        Sales & Marketing - sales as the lifeblood of the business

·        Strategic Management - leadership and key objectives

Programmes begin in the week commencing 28th October and consist of 12 two-hour evening sessions spread over 24 weeks, with the course tutor available throughout the programme for support and guidance.

Assessment is made on the basis of work-based projects which will both improve the quality of learning and directly benefit the business.

“These programmes are ideally suited for owner managers, company directors, department heads, managers and rising stars,” said a spokesman for the Lincoln Business School.

The courses are being run in conjunction with the Business Development Unit based in Hull. For more information contact Victoria Twidle on 0800 1380916 or email info@bdu.org.uk
