Ever thought of going to uni? Well here’s your chance – clearing.

This week and next the University of Lincoln at Brayford Pool will be running open days aimed at students who would like to start university this September but have only just decided to apply.

Clearing – as it is called – gives students the chance to apply directly to the university for any places remaining. The university is offering places on courses from Animal Nutrition to Politics and Multimedia to History, so ring us and find out more.

The open days – to be held between 10.00am and 3.00pm on Saturday 17th & Wednesday 21st August- will give potential students the opportunity to check out the facilities and courses available and offers students and their families an insight into university life.

Students will also receive advice on accommodation and funding, and current students will be on hand to give tours of the campus.

A university spokesperson explains: “If you haven’t found a place yet don’t panic! Just give us a ring

“The clearing office will be open every day until September. If you’re undecided, come along to an open day, it’s a great way to find out more. There’s a copy of the open day programme available on the university’s website: www.lincoln.ac.uk/opendays
