12th July 2002

If you are sixteen or over and would like to be trained for work in the countryside, the Further Education open day at the Lincolnshire School of Agriculture’s Riseholme Park tomorrow (13th July) will give you the advice you need.

First Diplomas, National Diplomas, Advanced National Certificates, NVQs and apprenticeships are all options on offer at the school and are available in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Horse Management which are just some of the courses which visitors will be able to discuss.

The morning begins with registration and coffee at 9.15am followed by a brief presentation about the school, accommodation, fees, courses and facilities.

Visitors can have an individual interview with the various course tutors, view student work and take a guided tour of the campus.

“It is a ideal opportunity to find out more about the courses and to take a good look at the facilities which are on offer,” said a school spokesperson.
