Art and Design students from the University of Lincoln in Hull are preparing to reveal their artistic talents at this summer’s end-of-year shows.


The displays are presented by final year students and represent a culmination of their work.


The dates and venues of these shows are as follows:-


·        International prize winners and a stunning range of design from across the spectrum of Architecture, Museum and Exhibition Design, Interior Design and Architectural Technology.  The shows commence with a private viewing on Friday 7th June.  Public shows begin on Saturday 8th June from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm continuing on Monday 10th June until Wednesday 12th June from 9.30 am – 4.30 pm.  All exhibitions take place on floors 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Hull School of Architecture on George Street.


·        SOLD, the Fine and Phonic Art show, continues its longstanding and high reputation for work of a contemporary nature.  Displays will include installations, conceptual work, paintings, sound works, sculptures, prints, photographs, digital media, video and performance.  Work to contemplate, confront, amuse, annoy or be sold.  The show is open to the public from Saturday 8th June until 14th June from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm at Queens Gardens and Anlaby Road, Hull.


“The students have worked really hard to produce the end-of-year shows,” said a university spokesperson. “The exhibitions are for everyone to enjoy so please feel free to come along.”
