The life’s work of a new professor of sculpture will be turned ‘inside out’ at her inaugural lecture on Wednesday (2nd February).

Prof Joanna Mowbray joined the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside in 1985 as a research assistant at the university’s city centre campus after working at art schools around the country.

The lecture ‘Inside Out’ is also the name of one of her sculptures and the event will trace the development of Prof Mowbray’s work and her various influences.

Prof Mowbray also works with the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and in 1995 received a Henry Moore bursary.

The event will be held in the Ferens Art Gallery and attendance is by ticket only. Contact Todd Pearce on 01482 440550.
