The achievements of art and design students at the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside will be on display to visitors at Wednesday’s open day.

Around 150 prospective students and their parents are expected to tour the art, design and architecture facilities which make up the university’s city centre campus.

Registration begins at 10am at the George Street building and visitors are advised to arrive early to get maximum benefit from the tours and subject talks.

“This is a chance for visitors to meet current students and get a real insight into programmes at the city centre campus,” said education liaison manager Ann Spencer

Would-be architecture students can see presentations between 11.15am and 12.15pm when they will have the chance to meet tutors and come face to face with the high standard of work expected of them by the university.

Displays and talks on animation, TV & film design, illustration and phonic art are available throughout the day.

Visitors are welcome to tour the nearby accommodation at Pacific Court and see for themselves the computing and media facilities in the Hooper Building. Various tours around the campus are also planned to allow students to get an insider’s view into life at the university.

The open day draws to a close at 3pm.
