University Open Day To Attract Hundreds

Hundreds of would-be students will converge on the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside on Wednesday, 27th January for one of its regular open days.

Marketing Manager Anne Spencer is the co-organiser of the event which is attracting interest from adult returners as well as sixth-formers.

“All the questions people want to ask about higher education and studying at the university will be answered at the open day,” she said.

Held at the Lincoln and Hull campuses, the day will be a busy one with subject talks, tours and a chance to meet current students and teaching staff.

The Lincoln tour will include the £11 million Learning Resource and Media Production Centre which boasts some of the best technological resources available. And visitors are also welcome to join the tour of halls of residence - more new blocks will be ready for students later this year.

“Whether you are interested for this year, next year or the year after, just come along and see what’s on offer at our university,” said Anne.

Opening times: Hull - 10am to 3pm. Lincoln - 10am to 2.30pm.
