We can't wait to welcome you to an Open Day in 2022. They're the perfect way to get a feel for Lincoln and the amazing student experience we have become known for. Coming to an Open Day will help you gather all the information you need to help you decide what and where you would like to study. You will have the opportunity to explore our range of undergraduate programmes by chatting with our passionate course tutors and current students, tour our range of facilities and learning spaces, and view our modern, purpose-built accommodation to help you find your new home from home.
Our modern Brayford Pool campus is located in the heart of the city, which means that almost everything you'll need during your time with us is just a short walk away. A beautiful and historic city, Lincoln has a variety of attractions and amenities, from its bustling Cornhill Quarter and high street showcasing an array of well-known retailers and eateries, to the charming Bailgate and Steep Hill area where there are plenty of places for you to spend time outside of study, such as independent cafes and bookshops, and boutique stores.

*Students interested in studying Medicine at Lincoln Medical School are encouraged to attend our Open Day on Saturday 9 July. This date will include additional interactive medicine elements alongside the opportunity to talk to and hear from students and staff, and explore our facilities.

As the main base for our Open Days, you are welcome to visit our information stands and speak to our dedicated staff teams from key services including Admissions, Fees and Funding, Student Wellbeing, and Careers. You'll also be able to chat with members of our Lincoln Students’ Union, run on behalf of all our students.
An important part of our Open Day experience is getting a flavour of your preferred subject area. You'll be able to meet with our passionate academic staff and students on our subject stands, attend subject talks and activities, and explore specialist facilities specific to your chosen course.
Our Student Ambassadors are available to answer any questions you may have about coming to the University. Perhaps you would like to join the team too? Ambassadors support University events and activities throughout the year, enabling them to earn some money and gain work experience.
You'll be able to join a guided tour of our city centre campus to get a feel for what it's really like to be a student at Lincoln, as well as see just how conveniently located everything is. Tours of our accommodation will also be available so you could see where your new home will be when you start your journey with us.
At Lincoln, we aim to provide a friendly, welcoming, and close-knit academic community for all of our students. Whether you may need to access support that is of a personal or academic matter, our expert range of support staff are here to help you every step of the way and will look forward to chatting with you at an Open Day about any queries you have.
During your visit, why not take a stroll up Lincoln's famous Steep Hill to see the magnificent Cathedral and stop for tea and cake, or take advantage a variety of Lincoln's high street amenities, including cinemas, shops, and places to eat and drink to suit all tastes. Lincolnshire is known for its rolling hills and award-winning beaches so if you're looking to spend some time in nature, there's plenty for students to enjoy within the county.
