Open Campus Guide

We're thrilled to welcome you to our Brayford Pool Campus and show you what makes Lincoln so special. This informal and flexible event is designed around you, giving you the freedom to explore at your leisure.

On Arrival

The event runs from 12pm until 2pm and you can drop in at any time, simply head to the Isaac Newton Building to check in from 11.30am. Make sure you check in using the QR code which will be available on signs located around campus. 

Parking

Visitors to our Open Campus are welcome to park at the University’s Boulevard Car Park (LN6 7DQ) at our weekend events until 7pm. Alternatively, the St Marks Car Park is just across the road from our Brayford Pool Campus. If you are using a sat nav to find St Marks Car Park, use the postcode LN5 7EX.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer electric vehicle charging facilities to guests at our Open Campus events. For more information about charging points around the city, please see the Lincoln City Council website.

Welcome Talk

Time: 12pm (20 minutes)

Location: Isaac Newton Building Lecture Theatre

Information Zone Stands

Admissions, Funding, Accommodation, Wellbeing, Personal Statements, and Careers and Employability

Time: 12pm-2pm

Location: Isaac Newton Building Atrium

Campus Tours

Time: From 12pm (every 15 minutes)

Location: A great way to get a feel for student life here at Lincoln is by joining a campus tour led by one of our brilliant Student Ambassadors. Campus tours will take place throughout the event, starting at 12pm and leave every 15 minutes from the Campus Tour Gazebo outside the Isaac Newton Building. The tour lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Time: From 12pm

Location: Engage in an informal chat about your course of interest at one of the College desks located in the Isaac Newton Building Atrium.

Facilities Tours

Facilities tours for the following subjects can be booked from the facility tour stand in the Isaac Newton Building: Performing Arts, Design & Architecture, Film, Media & Journalism, Psychology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life and Environmental Sciences and Health and Care Sciences

Sports Centre: Feel free take a tour of the Sports Centre, available directly from the Sports Centre.

Explore the City

Lincoln is one of England’s great heritage cities, and as we’re located at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, it’s a great location from which to explore the city during the event.
