Entry Requirements
Prospective students from Ireland are required to meet the following University of Lincoln entry requirements:
Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:
GCSE:
- Leaving Certificate Applied
- Leaving Certificate Applied / Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) (Ordinary Level Subjects)
- Leaving Certificate at Ordinary / Standard level Grades A – C
- National Foundation Certificate.
A Level:
- National Certificate
- National Vocational Certificate Level 2
- Leaving Certificate passed at Higher / Honours level Grades A – C (minimum 5 good passes in Honours level subjects).
Advanced Entry (Undergraduate)
Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

Good Bachelor degree from a recognised institution.
Postgraduate Research (e.g. MPhil/PhD)

English Language Requirements
Prospective students require one of the following English qualifications:
- GCSE English grade C or above
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score)
- TOEFL 550 (paper based)
- TOEFL 79 (Internet).
