Thank you for applying to study at the University of Lincoln. We hope you are as excited as we are about beginning your studies with us in September.
This area has been specifically created with applicants in mind and aims to support your journey towards studying at the University. You will be able to find information to help you to start planning your next steps before you arrive at the University of Lincoln.
The Secretary of State for Education has announced (20 March 2020) that calculated grades are to be awarded to students by the end of July 2020. This follows the cancellation of exams due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The University of Lincoln recognises how uncertain the current situation may seem, and as such we want to give young people, their parents and teachers the peace of mind that their lives and future careers will not be affected or disrupted as a result of Coronavirus.
Applicants have been offered places based on numerous factors, including their predicted grades. So our message to them is don’t worry, the current information indicates that your final exam results will also be based on those predicted grades as well as other information.
The University is working in line with Government guidance to ensure continuity and you can be confident in choosing Lincoln and making our University a home from home.
In addition, students don’t have to wait until September to start their journey with us. Students can continue with their studies and learning whilst schools are closed. To help with this the University is hosting a series of online interactive educational activities to replace our face-to-face applicant masterclasses on a variety of topics and study techniques.
Our new University of Lincoln Virtual Classroom - featuring live chats, quizzes and other online resources - is aimed at introducing students to what it’s like to be at university, offer advice / top tips and much more.
Whether you are interested in undergraduate or postgraduate study, we want you to have all the information that you need prior to starting University and that is why we hold regular live online Q&A sessions. You will be able to ask our team of advisors questions about everything including entry requirements, fees, bursaries and scholarships; plus anything else you can think of.
