Lincoln Law School’s Legal Practice management and Leadership Summer School programme has been developed to meet the unique needs of lawyers in practice and was designed to build skills for the successful development of a practice and leadership.
Our one week programme is an intensive study of legal practice management and leadership. The programme brings you together with experienced UK legal professionals and legal industry trainers to help participants develop the perspectives and skills necessary to be effective law firm leaders. Participants will learn about the unique challenges of leading a law firm and develop skills and perspectives to become more effective leaders of their organisation. The programme will provide guidance on each of the components necessary to build a successful client practice.
Attendees will participate in sessions covering key areas of practice management and leadership; developing a holistic understanding of the challenges facing, and the skills and perspectives required of, effective law firm leaders. The programme incorporates sessions of key updates of English contract law, commercial law and corporate governance. In a rapidly developing international legal market, the programme will provide an important opportunity for relationship building with UK legal professionals.

Participants study, engage, and learn (as much from each other as from our faculty) and significantly grow their professional networks through the close ties they form whilst with us at Lincoln. Our summer school results in classroom experiences of enduring value and impact.

The Legal Practice Management and Leadership Programme will start Monday 08th July 2019 and will end Friday 12th July 2019. Therefore, arrival will be Sunday 7th July 2019 and you will depart Saturday 13th July 2019.
The cost of the programme is £2500.00
The cost includes 6 nights’ accommodation, networking events, teaching and cultural visits.
Lincoln offers an experience rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and a wealth of places to eat and drink.
Castle Square nestles between Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle and is home to the 1215 Magna Carta. Lincoln Cathedral are owners of the original copies of both Magna Carta and The Charter of the Forest, sealed in 1217. They are on display in Lincoln Castle, the only place there they can be seen together in the world.
The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event if demand does not meet the minimum requirement necessary to cover the cost of running the event.
