These programmes are ideal for new or aspiring first line mangers, or individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training and are serious about developing their abilities.
There are four ILM Level 3 awards to choose from. The unit combinations to be covered for each award are available below. Each consist of a total of 4 credits.
ILM Award in Leadership and Management
Understand how to motivate to improve performance (2 Credits)
Understand conflict management in the workplace (1 Credit)
Understanding organising and delegating in the workplace (1 Credit)
ILM Award in Leadership and Team Skills
Understanding Leadership (2 Credits)
Understand how to create an effective team (1 Credit)
Understanding stress management in the workplace (1 Credit)
ILM Award in People Management
Understanding discipline in the workplace (1 Credit)
Understanding the induction of new staff in the workplace (1 Credit)
Giving briefings and making presentations (2 Credits)
ILM Award in Account Management
Understand negotiation and networking in the workplace (1 Credit)
Understanding procurement and supplier management in the workplace (2 Credits)
Understanding costs and budgets in the organisation (1 Credit)
These 3-day programmes are delivered on site at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, Holbeach and can also be delivered on business premises.
No formal qualifications required.
3 assignments (1,000 word outline). Learners will have 3 months from the date of enrolment to complete the assignments.
Upon successful completion candidates will receive an ILM Level 3 Award.
