If you are applying after 30 June 2019, have changed your mind about the course or university you want to study at, or if you did not meet the conditions of your offers, you can use Clearing to secure a place at university for September 2019.
You will find lots of useful information on this page, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to call the University of Lincoln Clearing hotline on 0808 164 4444.
Here's our top tips to help you successfully navigate your way through Clearing.
1. Enter Clearing
The first thing you should do is log onto UCAS Track. If you haven’t secured a place at one of your chosen universities, your UCAS Track status will change to ‘You are in Clearing’. An additional button will have also appeared giving you the option to add a clearing choice.
2. Find a course
Research the courses available and make a list of those you are interested in. It’s a good idea to prepare for this in advance, just in case.
3. Contact universities and colleges directly
You can call the University of Lincoln Clearing hotline on 0808 164 4444 - make sure you have your results and UCAS ID number to hand. A team of dedicated staff will be waiting to answer your questions and help find the course that’s right for you.
If you meet the entry requirements you may even receive a provisional offer right there and then. We will always follow this up with an email confirming all of the details.
4. Accept an offer
To formally accept your offer, you will need to log back onto UCAS Track and click on the 'Add Clearing Choice' button. As soon as your offer has been verified by your chosen university your acceptance will be displayed in the ‘Choices’ section. If you’ve accepted your place at the University of Lincoln we will then be in touch with all the relevant information you’ll need for enrolment.
5. Arrange accommodation and tell Student Finance
Once you have found your university place, you will need to arrange your accommodation and let your student finance provider know where you will be studying to ensure there is no delay to your funding. Visit our Scholarships and Bursaries section to find out if there are any scholarships that you are eligible to apply for.
6. Research the city
Start researching the city or town where you will be studying. If you have accepted a place at the University of Lincoln, visit our Discover Lincoln pages to see what the city has to offer.
