What is Adjustment?

The Adjustment process is when you have met or exceeded the conditions of your firm choice on UCAS, enabling you to look for a different course with higher entry requirements. Adjustment allows you to hold your confirmed place while you research and secure an alternative course.

If you would like to study at the University of Lincoln, please call us on +44 (0)1522 886097 and we can discuss your options.

Top Tips for Adjustment

  • Consider whether Adjustment is the best choice for you and talk to a careers advisor or teacher about your choices.
  • Register for Adjustment in UCAS Track.
  • You have five days from when your firm offer becomes unconditional to use Adjustment.
  • You will still have your original university place if you do not find one through Adjustment.
  • Research the university you would like to attend. There is no vacancy list for Adjustment but you can contact the university admissions team directly.
