This World Social Work Day event is designed to strengthen social work students’ sense of belonging, professional identity, interdisciplinary understanding and collaboration in social work, while advancing key University of Lincoln priorities including Lincoln for LIFE, Education and Students, Our People, Growth, and the University’s civic mission.
For further context, World Social Work Day 2026 will be celebrated under the theme:
‘Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society’, highlights the role of social work in bringing people together across communities, cultures, and systems.
The Event will be a carousel of activities:
- Station 1 – Belonging and Professional Identity
- Station 2 – Interdisciplinary understanding
- Station 3 – Student – Practitioner – Academic Relationships.
No registration needed – sign in at the door and collect a sticker.
