Event Information

The Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC) returns in November 2025, and the University of Lincoln are proud to be invited to host this event, with the support of the UK Maths Trust (UKMT).

About the event: Teams of four students from schools and colleges across the UK take part in dozens of Regional Finals. High-scoring teams are invited to compete in the National Final. The Regional Final for our local area is to be held at the University of Lincoln.

Date: 14th November 2025

Time: 10:30-14:30  (we recommend that you arrive a little earlier to ensure there is time to locate the venue and ensure a prompt start. If booking transport then we recommend pick up at 14:45 to allow time to return to the pick up point after the end of the event.)

Location: Minerva Building

Price: £40 per team

Eligibility: The Senior Team Maths Challenge is for pupils in Year 12 and 13. There should be no more than two pupils from the older year group in each team. One team is permitted per school and each team needs to bring one member of staff with them to support the event.
