On Arrival

The event runs from 12pm until 2pm. When you arrive, head to our Isaac Newton Building (Reference Building 14, on our Campus Map) where you can check in at the Welcome Desk. Here, you can meet our friendly staff, grab your tote bag and begin your afternoon.

Getting Here and Parking

If you're travelling by car, please note that guest parking is not available on weekdays. However, there are several convenient pay-and-display car parks nearby. St Marks Car Park is located just across the road from our Brayford Pool Campus. For sat nav directions, use postcode LN5 7EX.

 

Travel Update

Road improvement works are taking place around the University of Lincoln. The University remains fully accessible, but you may experience delays due to temporary traffic signals, lane closures, and diversion routes. Please allow extra time for your journey and follow any temporary road signage.

Visit the Information Zone

Visit the Information Zone in the Isaac Newton Building to speak to staff from key services including Admissions, Accommodation, Funding Advice, Student Wellbeing, Careers and Global Opportunities, and our Students’ Union. There are also Information Points located around campus where you can drop in and learn more about the University’s library and Sports Centre.

Tour Our Campus

A great way to get a feel for student life here at Lincoln is by joining a campus tour led by one of our brilliant Student Ambassadors. Campus tours will take place every 15 minutes throughout the event, starting at 12pm. The last tour will leave at 1.45pm. There’s no need to book, just pop along to the Campus Tours stand located near the Isaac Newton Building when you are ready.

Facility Tours

Discover our state-of-the-art learning spaces by joining a guided tour led by current students. Tours for the following subject areas can be booked at the Facility Tour Stand in the Isaac Newton Building: Computer Science and Games Computing, Design and Architecture, Engineering, Film and Media, Health and Care Sciences, Life Sciences, Performing Arts, Psychology and Sport.

Take a Break

Grab a complimentary drink when you arrive in the Isaac Newton Building. If you're feeling hungry, the INB counter will be serving a selection of sandwiches and paninis. Additional food and drink options are available in the Minerva Building, while Towers, operated by the Students' Union, will also be open and offering a wide variety of refreshments.

 

Explore the City

Our waterfront campus sits in the centre of Lincoln, one of England’s great heritage cities. During the event, you’ll have time to explore the city and get a feel for student life. Lincoln has also been named the most affordable student city in the UK in the NatWest Student Living Index 2025.
