Course Overview

The MBA Leadership Fast Track programme provides an accelerated route to achieving a full MBA qualification for experienced leaders looking to formalise their expertise, or for professionals who have already completed a relevant Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Leadership. An MBA is a globally recognised qualification that demonstrates advanced strategic thinking, leadership capability and the ability to address complex organisational challenges, enhancing both professional credibility and career progression.

This fast track or top-up programme requires the completion of a single 60-credit module: the Integrated Research and Consultancy Project. This module enables you to investigate a strategic organisational challenge or consultancy topic relevant to your professional context, culminating in the submission of a dissertation.

To support you throughout the project, the programme includes two days of Research Methods teaching, delivered either in person or online via Microsoft Teams. These sessions provide the knowledge and skills needed to plan, undertake and successfully complete postgraduate-level research.

On successful completion, you will be awarded the MBA Leadership, demonstrating your ability to apply advanced leadership knowledge, critical thinking and research skills to complex organisational challenges.

Chartered Manager Status

Students who successfully pass the Integrated Research and Consultancy Project module and meet Chartered Management Institute learning outcomes will qualify for a Level 7 Diploma with the CMI in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, and Chartered Manager status, the highest status that can be achieved in the management profession.

Benefits of Completing an MBA

  1. Advance your leadership and strategic thinking – Develop the skills to lead teams, make informed strategic decisions, and tackle complex organisational challenges with confidence.
  2. Enhance your career prospects and professional credibility – An MBA is a globally recognised qualification that can open doors to senior leadership roles, career progression, and increased earning potential across a range of sectors.
  3. Apply learning to real-world challenges – MBA programmes combine academic theory with practical application, enabling you to solve organisational problems, drive innovation, and deliver meaningful improvements within your workplace.
