Canada Scholarship

Scholarship Amount

The Canada Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount in the first year of their studies. 

September 2026 and January 2027 Entry 

Selection Criteria 

In order to be eligible to receive the Canada Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Canada.
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2026 or January 2027.
• Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University.

Students joining a Pre-Master’s programme will be entitled to receive the scholarship when they move onto their main programme.

The Canada Scholarship is valued at £4,000 - £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies. 

Selection Criteria

In order to be eligible to receive the Canada Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Canada.
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2027 or January 2028.

A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

1. a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
   b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
