Entry Requirements
Prospective students from Oman are required to meet the following University of Lincoln entry requirements:
Secondary School Certificate holders require an International Foundation Programme
Higher College of Technology Diploma with a minimum GPA of 70%
Students with a Higher/Advanced Diploma can be considered for advanced entry on a case by case basis with a minumim GPA of 2.8/4/.0
Advanced Entry (Undergraduate)
Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

Postgraduate Taught (e.g. MA/MSc)
Entry requirements for postgraduate (master degree) programmes vary by course although typically you will require a minimum of 2.4 out of 4 GPA.
Specific information on postgraduate entry requirements can be found on the individual programme page.
For comparison purposes, a GPA of 2.4 / 4 is the equivalent of a 2:2 honours degree. A GPA of 2.7 / 4 is the equivalent of a 2:1 honours degree.
Postgraduate Research (e.g. MPhil/PhD)
Successful completion of a Master’s Degree.

English Language Requirements
Applicants require IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score) or an equivalent qualification. Please note that some programmes require a higher score.
