For programmes commencing in 2021/22, the University of Lincoln are delighted to offer Africa Scholarships to prospective postgraduate applicants who are a national of, or have permanent residence in, in Africa. The Africa Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount in the first year of their studies. You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered for the Africa Scholarship once you have submitted your application to study at the University of Lincoln.

Entry Requirements
Prospective students from Ethiopia are required to meet the following University of Lincoln entry requirements:
Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:
- A recognised foundation programme
- Advanced Diploma with a grade of Good/B
- 2 years of a Bachelor degree from a recognised Ethiopian University with a GPA of 3/4.

Entry requirements for postgraduate (master degree) programmes vary by course although typically you will require a minimum of GRade B (or 3 from your GPA).

English Language Requirements
Prospective students require one of the following qualifications:
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score) or equivalent. Please note that some courses require a higher score
- Pearson Tests Overall score: 54 (Listening: 51, Speaking: 51, Reading 51, Writing 51).

Scholarships
Each year, the University of Lincoln is delighted to award a number of scholarships and bursaries to suitably qualified students from around the world. Depending on your academic ability, intended programme of study and nationality, the level of scholarship / bursary can vary.
All students in Ethiopia are eligible to apply for the Lincoln 50% Global Scholarship, while postgraduate students can apply for the Lincoln Africa Scholarship worth £5,000.
