Lincoln Law Clinic

The University of Lincoln Law Clinic provides free, confidential legal advice to individuals and small businesses.

Our service is student-led, with advice prepared by final-year Law students under the close supervision of professionally qualified legal staff. All advice is reviewed and signed off by our qualified supervising team to ensure quality and accuracy.

As part of the University’s commitment to community engagement and experiential learning, the Law Clinic delivers high-quality legal support to the local community while providing students with valuable practical experience.

Who Can Access the Law Clinic?

We welcome enquiries from individuals and organisations. These will be reviewed to determine whether the Clinic is able to assist.

The Clinic is suitable for:

We provide written legal guidance.

Areas of Expertise

The Law Clinic can advise on the following areas:

Civil litigation, community care, consumer law, contract law, corporate structure, data protection, debt and insolvency, domestic violence, education, employment law, housing, IT and internet law, property law, tort, and wills and probate.

The Law Clinic cannot advise on:

Public law children cases, debt management, immigration, or representation at court or tribunal.

Opening Times

The Law Clinic operates during term time on Tuesdays, by appointment only.

We are based at:

179 High Street, Lincoln

Our ground floor office is accessible from the High Street. We also offer remote appointments where appropriate.
