School of Computer Science

Welcome

Through our inspirational teaching, world-leading research, and specialist facilities, we aim to prepare our graduates with the necessary skills and mindset to work at the frontier of our discipline.

The University is affiliated with the Institution of Analysts and Programmers and through our "student as producer" initiative, our programmes provide students with the opportunity to be a part of cutting-edge research in robotics and autonomous systems, computer vision/imaging, games computing, VR/AR, data science/ML/AI, and human-computer interaction.

With around 1000 students spread across our range of undergraduate (BSc), integrated Master's (MComp), and postgraduate courses (MSc by Research/PhD), the School offers an exciting, thriving, and expanding environment in which to study and develop.
