Fall in love with the University of Lincoln at our London Open Day on 27 October 2020. We’re a top 20, gold-rated university, located in a beautiful, safe, and welcoming cathedral city.
Selecting the right university for you is a big decision. Leaving home, making new friends, and starting a new adventure in a new city is exciting but can be scary too.
Many students tell us that they worry about leaving home and finding their feet in a new city. This was something that Wes Nelson experienced when he joined ITV’s Love Island. He will be joining us at our London Open Day to talk about his experiences of leaving home, confidence, resilience, dealing with haters, and keeping positive.
Before entering Love Island, Wes was an Electrical and Nuclear Systems Design Engineer. He is originally from Staffordshire and attended Newcastle College. Our London Open Day will introduce you to what it’s like to be a student at the University of Lincoln.
You can attend a subject breakout session, and find out about our accommodation options and student support.
Please note that we are currently taking bookings for this event, but due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we will continue to monitor the situation. We therefore advise against booking any travel or accommodation at this stage.
While it's not possible for you to visit us in person at the moment, we are still taking bookings for our Autumn/Winter 2020 Open Days. Please note that we will continue to monitor the situation and therefore would advise that you do not book any non-refundable travel or accommodation at this stage.
Last year 30,000 people came to an Open Day event at the University of Lincoln. We believe this should be a day that changes your life and that the whole family enjoy. You can explore our campus, speak to lecturers, attend subject talks for the courses you are interested in, meet current students, view our accommodation, and enjoy the range of additional activities and entertainment that give our Open Days that distinctive ‘festival feel’.
In addition to registering your interest in our Virtual Open Day, you can also book your place at one of our physical Open Days here. We hope to be able to welcome you to our campus soon.
