News Dr. Kerstin Meints has been awarded $99,163 for a 2-year-project from the NIH, co-funded by NICHD and WALTHAM, to investigate how to teach children dog signals. It is the first study outside the US to receive funding through the grant mechanism and the first NIH funding the University of Lincoln has received. Dr. Helen Chapman (Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry), Dr. Susan Chipchase and Dr. Roger Bretherton from the School of Psychology have been awarded £77 357 from The Shirley Glasstone Hughes Trust Fund to investigate 'Dentists' emotions and clinical decision making: Individual differences in susceptibility and the development of a coping package'.
