Taught Programmes
Our taught programmes are structured in a similar way to undergraduate study, with a set timetable of lectures and seminars. The courses include taught modules that are individually assessed, and an individual research-based project supervised by an academic with expertise in the subject. Full-time programmes normally take 12 months to complete. Some programmes are conversion courses, so you can explore a completely new subject without prior study in the area. Research Degrees
For students wanting to focus on a specific area of study and make an original contribution to knowledge, we offer a range of research degrees, including an MA/MSc by Research, MPhil, and PhD. A significant proportion of your time will be spent in independent study during these programmes, and your research is conducted under the supervision of experienced academics with specialist knowledge.
