Introduction
The Sport and Exercise Science Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) aims to develop the required knowledge, skills, and attributes to study Sport and Exercise Science at degree level and/or seek employment in the sport and exercise science sector. The aim of the programme is to provide students who successfully complete the programme to the required level entry on to year two of the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree.
Modules
All Level 1 modules of the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop a sound theoretical platform for understanding the subject base in the key disciplines of sport and exercise science and the development of research skills. The course looks to provide a platform to progress onto further study in the areas of sport and exercise science, health and physical activity.
